About the Cell
The Women Empowerment Cell is an important unit of the College dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, equitable and encouraging environment for women students and staff members. The Cell works towards promoting awareness of social, educational, economic and legal rights of women and strives to develop self-confidence, leadership qualities and self-reliance among them.
The Cell promotes the dignity, equality and empowerment of women by organizing various educational and awareness programmes. It seeks to empower women through education, skill development and leadership opportunities so that they can actively contribute to nation-building and community development.
Role and Objectives
• To promote awareness regarding women's rights and gender equality.
• To develop leadership qualities, self-confidence and decision-making abilities among women students.
• To create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment on the campus.
• To organize programmes related to health, hygiene, personality development and self-defence.
• To encourage skill development, entrepreneurship and career opportunities for women.
• To spread awareness about social issues and legal provisions related to women.
• To develop women students into empowered, responsible and socially conscious citizens.
